About Tim Cartmell

It was my honor and privilege to serve on Edmonton City Council for two terms, from 2017 to 2025. I am a Professional Engineer and small business owner, and my business, Lemtra Projects, provides engineering services including structural design, managing building projects and forensic / investigative services.

Giving back to the community has always been very important to me. It was my three decades of community volunteer experience that ultimately led me to run for Council.

As a Councillor I served on several City Council committees, as all Councillors do. I was also able to serve on the Fort Edmonton Management Company Board, the Edmonton Police Commission, the Due North Board, the EMRB Governance and HR Committee and the EMRB Transportation Master Plan Task Force. I also participated in the Winter Cities, Active Transportation and Live Active Council Initiatives.
